Hi, welcome to my diary. I'm Flora, a writer and consultant in her 40s (but still very much young at heart!) and UK based. I often travel with my personal work and one year ago decided to set up my blog for like minded curious minds. 

 

After changing my work routine to part time hours I finally had the time to explore the world a little more. Nothing beats sleeping in a new bed with mountains, the Eiffel Tower or a noisy bar outside your window to widen your world view. Travelling provides a brand new experience everytime, and I cherish every moment including the people I meet, immersing myself in a new culture and trying local cuisines.

While I loved the rough and tumble of travelling on a budget when I was younger I decided to concentrate on the luxury side of travel as I got older. The hotels I review offer exceptional services, with some offering  a genuinely once in a life time experience.
